Camp Kitchen
Lakesea understands the value of campers having somewhere to relax and meet other fellow travellers while they cook, wash dishes and eat, that is a change to the confined space of their own van or tent, and as a result, we have provided a purpose-built camp kitchen
This facility is fully enclosed and offers guests plenty of room to prepare and enjoy a family meal, sit back and watch the cricket, send an email or grab a cup of coffee.
The kitchen is open daily (except Christmas Day ) from 8.30am to 9.30pm for all park guests.
Camp Kitchen Includes:
- An undercover dining area with seating for up to 30 persons
- FREE guest WiFi
Conference Room
Lakesea Park has two rooms available for smaller and larger conference groups. We are dedicated to assisting you with arranging all your conferencing needs from catering of meals to organising external activities, local tours and entertainment.
We can accommodate up to 23 guests in individual cabins, 52 guests with individual queen and single/bunk rooms and up to 100 guests where twin share accommodation is appropriate (reverse-cycle air conditioned and heated cabins with ceiling fans).
The camp kitchen adjacent for up to 30 guests to dine (can be extended for larger groups as required). A coffee machine and 2 gas BBQs are provided.
Lakesea Park also features a state of the art cinema for in-house entertainment of guests outside conferencing hours.
Conference Room includes:
- Seating for up to 80 persons – theatre style or 50 persons – with tables
- Large motorised screen for bigger presentations and overhead projection.
- Fully integrated cinema with quality surround sound speaker system.
- Abilitiy to project laptops onto screen.
- Input jacks for music players.
- Internet access
- Roving wireless microphone
- TV & DVD appliances
- Whiteboard (non-electronic)
- Fully reverse-cycle air-conditioned and heated rooms.
Cinema
State of the art equipment to provide you with a quality audio and visual experience, all in the comfort of reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating.
The cinema runs at peak times, on long weekends, and in school holiday periods playing the latest movies to DVD for children during the day, and catering for teenagers and adults in the evenings.
Daily screening schedules are posted during peak season at both Lakesea Park’s Reception and outside the entrance to the Camp Kitchen. Entry to the Cinema is through Lakesea Park’s Camp Kitchen.
“A Great Idea in Summer” — we schedule movies to get the kids out of the sun during the hotter parts of the day and provide cooler refuge. On days of inclement weather we will also program extra screenings.
Movies are FREE to all Lakesea Park patrons, and plenty of comfortable seating is provided, with the mattresses in the front row always a hit with the kids!!
Amenities
Lakesea has 2 modern amenities blocks located at opposite ends of the park.
Each amenities block features:-
- Toilets – 4 in each ladies block
- 3 in each mens block
- Coin operated showers – 5 each per ladies & mens sections – 20¢ coins are required for the showers each lasting approximately 3.5 minutes.
- Basins, benchtop and mirrors.
- Liquid soap dispensers & automatic hand dryers for hygiene.
- 3 Laundries with coin operated washing machines and dryers.
- Laundry machines take $5 per load or pay with credit card via the APP.
- Ironing equipment is available from the park’s reception.
- A shared Baby Bathroom and Disabled Bathroom is located in the Southern amenities block.
- Bench and sinks outside amenities for washing-up of dishes.
- Rainwater supply for consumption is provided in the tanks adjacent to the amenities blocks.
- The rest of the park is on bore water which MUST be boiled prior to consuming.
