Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Lakesea Park. By booking a stay or using our facilities, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Bookings & Payments

All Tariffs are Twinshare.
All phone bookings require a deposit of the higher amount of 50% or the full 1st night’s tariff.
All online bookings deposits are 100% of the reservation, payable at time of booking.
A card surcharge of 1% applies to all card payments made on bookings.
Single night bookings in Lakeside Cabins; and Park & Standard Cabins on weekends in MID Season will incur a $20 surcharge.
All single night bookings on Ensuite Powered Sites will incur a $20 surcharge.
Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of deposit.
Bookings arriving after reception hours are to be paid in full prior to arrival.
Every effort is made to allocate your preferred site, but management reserves the right to change a site where the need arises.
Accommodation is based on a nightly tariff and a per head count.
Strictly no overnight visitors unless approved by management and paid for.
Any damage and breakages must be paid for.
Credit card pre-authorisation of $100 applies to all off-peak accommodation bookings and $200 to all peak accommodation bookings.
License details are required on check-in for Security Registration.
If credit card details are not available, a $100 bond ($200 in peak season) will be required on check-in which is refunded upon departure following a cabin inspection.

2. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in time: 2:00 PM
Check-out time: 10:00 AM
No late arrivals will be accepted after 5.00pm unless prior arrangements are made with Management.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Deposits are non-transferable, so please book wisely.
For cancellations more than 21 days prior to arrival, a minimum cancellation fee of $60 will be charged.
For cancellations less than 21 days prior to arrival, the higher amount of 50% of the total tariff OR 100% of the deposit will be forfeited.
For Peak/High Season cancellations prior to 1st November, a minimum cancellation fee of $60 will be charged.
For cancellations of Peak/High Season Christmas school holiday reservations after 1st November, 100% of the deposit will be forfeited. NO refunds or credits will apply.
No refunds for early departures or inclement weather. Time contracted shall be paid for.
If a guest fails to arrive on the nominated day of arrival and fails to notify management the booking will be cancelled and no refunds apply.

4. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to respect fellow visitors, staff, and the natural environment.
Noise must be kept to a minimum after 10:00 PM.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Pets are not permitted.

5. Use of Facilities

Facilities such as BBQ areas, sports courts, playgrounds, and camp kitchens are available for guest use only during Reception hours.
Guests must follow all posted rules and instructions when using park facilities.
FREE BBQs are provided for use in the camp kitchen until 9.30 pm and at the playground until 8.00 pm daily. (Excluding Xmas Day)
Bikes, Scooters, Skateboards and rollerblades – are not to be ridden after the streetlights come on. Riding is not permitted around the amenities or boom gate areas.
Helmets are to be worn at all times and all bikes are to be locked away when not in use.
Motorised craft are prohibited from being operated or ridden within the park grounds. This also includes the flying of drones over the park.
Camp Kitchen – With full cooking facilities, is located adjacent to the Ensuite sites.
Features include an indoor eating area, 2 x gas BBQs, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi access and coffee machine. Open daily until 9.30 pm.
Lakesea Park is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse of facilities.
All immediate areas surrounding park facilities and buildings are smoke-free areas!
Water – within the park is bore water which requires boiling before consumption. Fresh drinking water is available at both amenities blocks and in cabin tanks. Please turn the taps off and conserve water.
Alternatively, bottled water is available from the park’s kiosk.
Lakesea Park Management reserves the right to terminate a reservation if the park rules are broken.

6. Accommodation Information

Linen is supplied on the main bed in all of our accommodation range.
Linen packs are supplied for all extra beds except sofabeds in the Lakeside Cabins.
Linen hire for sofabeds is available @ $20/set.
Parking – 1 space is provided per site. Extra vehicles and day visitors must park in the visitor’s car park. 2 spaces are provided at the Seaside cabins.
Smoking – is prohibited within ALL Cabins. Please use the balcony ashtrays provided ensuring the cabin door is closed. A $150 fee will be charged for cleaning a cabin that has been smoked within.
The Seaside cabins are on a rainwater supply which is safe to consume.

7. Camp Sites Information

Ensuite and powered van sites have matting and grass, tent sites are grassed. All sites have access to power and water.
You will need to supply your extension lead & hose to connect to these.
Tent-only sites do not have onsite parking. Parking for these is on the outside of the garden bed borders.
Camp Kitchen with full cooking facilities, is located adjacent to the Ensuite sites. Features include an indoor eating area, 2 x BBQs, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi access and coffee machine. Open daily until 9.30 pm.
Parking – 1 space is provided per site. Extra vehicles and day visitors must park in the visitor’s car park.
Amenities Blocks – are located at both ends of the park for guest’s convenience. Showers are 20¢ for 3½ minutes of hot water.
A shared Baby / Disabled bathroom is located at the Southern Amenity Block. Children under 10yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
No wetsuits are to be worn or washed in the amenities. A refundable key deposit is required. Cleaning times change seasonally.

8. Liability

Guests enter and use the park at their own risk.
Lakesea Park is not liable for theft, loss, damage to personal property, or personal injury, except where required by law.

Lost or damaged keys are charged at $40.00 per key.
We recommend travel insurance for all guests.

9. Environment & Wildlife

Lakesea Park is located in a natural bush and coastal environment.
Guests must not feed or harm wildlife and should exercise caution around native animals.
Fires – Are permitted off the ground, ONLY in the drums provided. Fire drums must be kept away from mats on the campsites.
Firewood is available for sale at the park. Wood used is NOT to be collected from the reserve outside the park, and NOT larger than the drum provided.
NO fires are permitted on days of a TOTAL FIRE BAN or park-enforced ban.
Absolutely NO fires permitted at the Seaside Cabins at any time!

10. Privacy

Any personal information collected during booking is used solely for reservation and communication purposes.
We will not share your details with third parties except where required by law.

11. Amendments

Tariffs are dynamic and are subject to change without notice. Once you have paid your deposit, the tariff is set and will only be changed if an error in calculation or omission of fact has occurred.
Lakesea Park reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on our website.
